UPCOMING PLEASANT STREET CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY.
PROJECT UPDATES
The first phase of the Reimagine Pleasant Street project, which includes Pleasant Street from River Road to the new roundabout at 10th Street, is open to traffic.

Phase 1 includes a new bridge over the White River, a roundabout at River Road and Pleasant Street, two roundabouts along Eighth Street, and a new roundabout at the intersection of 10th Street and Pleasant Street.

Phase 2 is now open to traffic in one lane in each direction between 13th and 19th streets. As part of Phase 2 construction, crews are widening Pleasant Street to four lanes, building a new bridge over Wilson Drain, and reconstructing the roundabout at 19th Street and Pleasant Street to a two-lane roundabout. Crews are also raising the lowest point of the road to reduce the risk of flooding in the area. Construction continues in the area, and the entire corridor will be fully open to traffic in early 2026. Trails in the area remain closed until construction is complete.

Phase 3 includes new road construction from River Road to the intersection of Hague Road and State Route 32. As part of Phase 3 construction, crews built a new bridge over Cicero Creek and reconfigured the roundabout at the intersection of Hague Road and SR 32. This section is now open to traffic.
